Allow me to add my two cents on former defensive end Phil Hansenbeing honored on the Bills Wall of Fame. Hansen, who willbecome the 27th member of the Wall, was among the classiest playersand nicest people I've been around inside and outside ofsports.Hansen already was here as Authentic Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey Black an established veteran when Ireturned to Buffalo from Philadelphia in 1995 while working for theAssiociated Press. My primary duty back then was covering footballand picking up hockey when the Bills' season ended. Most peopleremember the Bills for their success, but Iremember them as much for their personalities. And Hansen was right at the top of the list.Bruce Smith was one of the best -- if not the best -- player inteam history, but much of his success came because he had Hansen onthe other side. Hansen was an effort player who wasn't as blessedathletically as Bruce, but he gave the Bills everything he had and nevercomplained. He also never became caught up in the massive egos thatdominated the Bills in the 1990s.It's not to Nnamdi Asomugha Authentic Jersey suggest Hansen wasn't a great athlete. In fact, hewas. The play people probably remember most was him interceptingDan Marino's pass for a touchdown, but I can recall numerous playsin which his pressure from the left side flushed quarterbackstoward Bruce. In my opinion, Hansen was never given enough credit.Ask him, and he'd say he was given too much.He was among the most humble athletes ever to wear a Buffalouniform, a trait that clearly came from his hard-workingupbringing. He often spoke about North Dakota and his hometown, which sounded Replica Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey like something out of a Norman Rockwell piece. Henever lost his roots, either. On Mondays after victories, whichwere often in the 1990s, he used his day off to work on a farm offRoute 20A.Great player, Official Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey great guy, great honor.Last year, Leicester High found out how hard it was to becomeone of the elite teams in Central Mass. This year, the Wolverinesare finding out that staying on top might be even harder.Leicester (2-0) is looking strong after opening the season withwins over North and Oakmont. The Wolverines showed they're going todo just fine without running back Trevor Choruzek, who graduated.Leicester has relied on a balanced attack behind a mammothoffensive Authentic Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey line, led by tackle Ryan Green, guard Mason Chapman andcenter Scott Ellstrom. The line has allowed running back NickKenneway and sophomore quarterback Drew Mazzeo to get comfortablein their new full-time roles. The Wolverines are hoping that new formula Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey Black keeps working whenthey host Burncoat High at 7 tonight in the Hometeam Magazine Gameof the Week."(Burncoat has) some good size and some good skill kids, (NickVilaivanh) is pretty good," Leicester coach Tim Griffiths said. "Wehad a good win last week, so to validate our win last week, we needa win this week."Griffiths said Leicester's offensive plan last year wasprimarily to hand the ball to Choruzek, who led Central Mass. withmore than 2,000 rushing yards, but now the Wolverines are morebalanced. Much of that can be attributed to the work his playersput in during the offseason."We tried to work a lot harder than we did last offseason, justbecause we wanted to be better," Ellstrom said. Permier Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey "We have a bunch ofbig Eagles Nnamdi Asomugha Jersey kids, so we're going to try to run people over."Kenneway became the primary ballcarrier after splitting time thepast two seasons and Michael Vick Jersey Womens hasn't disappointed, rushing for 172 yardsover two games. Griffiths is especially high on Mazzeo, who canturn around games with his arm or his legs."By Week 4 or 5, people are going to know who this kid is,"Griffiths said. "I'm friends with (former Northbridge quarterback)Danny Brown - (Mazzeo) is Danny Brown with a better arm. Danny isgoing to get mad at me, but it's true, and I watched Danny score alot of touchdowns against me when he was around."Mazzeo has thrown for 245 yards and rushed for 162 this year andshould give the Patriots all they can handletonight."We have a good team, and we can spread it out, we can run it upthe middle, we can do whatever we want with this good line," Mazzeosaid."They like to run the football, and then they'll lull you tosleep and then throw it," Burncoat coach Jim Pisegna said. "Mazzeois a very good quarterback and can run the option and can hit thedeep pass, and Kenneway is a speedy back that can break some runs. They have a good line and Chapman is a good player, so they're atough club and we have our work cut out for us."The Patriots (1-1) are coming off a bigwin over Worcester Tech in which, Vilaivanh said, things finallystarted clicking, which wasn't the case in an opening loss toAlgonquin Regional."Now everyone is playing well together and we're playingtogether as a team," Vilaivanh said. "Week 1, we didn't really havethat chemistry with one another, and everyone didn't know what todo or when to do it, but now after that big win, everyone is on thesame page."After starting for the past three seasons, Vilaivanh and histwin brother, Henry, have found themselves in the spotlight atBurncoat. In previous years, they weren't asked to shoulder as muchof the load because talented players like Ed Frazier could helpout. But this year, if the Patriots hope to turn things around, the Vilaivanhs have to make something happen every game."I don't think of it as pressure. Me and my brother just go outand play hard every single play," Henry Vilaivanh said. "Now we'vetaken the spotlight for Burncoat and do what the other greatplayers have done."While Leicester needs a win tonight to keep on a roll headinginto big games against Grafton and Auburn, Burncoat needs a win toshow the rest of Central Mass. that it will be a threat thisyear."This will be the blueprint for the rest of the season," NickVilaivanh said. "If we do well here, it will carry on for the restof the season and it will bring more fans for us, and more peopleat school will come out and support us."Easier said than done, according to the Wolverines."Our skill players we have now are some of the best we've had ina while," Chapman said. "We're just going to play our game and runthe ball, and hopefully we can come out with a win."
