Isuzu is one of those famous truck producers which had given wonderful trucks not only to Australian economy but also to the world economy. General Motors Holden Ltd had been marketing for Isuzu trucks in Australia since 1972 under the name of Bedford till 1980 which was later on marketed in the name of Isuzu till 1989. Isuzu Australia initially started its venture in collaboration with General Motors Ltd after 1989 in 60:40 ratios. They carried out distribution and marketing business of Isuzu LCV and Isuzu Truck products in Australia till 2005. Isuzu started its sole subsidiary under the banner of Isuzu Australia Ltd, after a series of negotiations, when Isuzu took over all the shares of General Motors Ltd. Isuzu Australia Ltd and Isuzu Motors Ltd jointly opened new pages for the truck users in Australia after its inception till today.

 

 

Thus, trucks, especially Isuzu trucks, had played a great role in the development of world economy as they are extensively used for medium to heavy duty works that are done for the development projects every where in the world.
